Kirstin is responsible for implementing all aspects of NTSUSA’s mission, from strategic partnerships and fundraising to Board development and grants management. Kirstin, who previously worked at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Nantucket Historical Association, is a graduate of Smith College and holds an M.Sc. in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Her favorite National Trust for Scotland property is Hill House, and she can’t wait to visit St Kilda someday.
Caroline spearheads membership and annual fund initiatives, including Clan partnerships. Previously, she has worked for the Huntington Theatre, The University of South Carolina’s Center for the Arts and The School for the Museum of Fine Arts. Caroline earned an M.Sc. in Film Studies from the University of Edinburgh. Her ultimate travel goal is to visit Fair Isle, to learn about the knitting technique and pet a Shetland pony.
Michael works with the development team to manage databases and oversee NTSUSA’s public outreach initiatives. Michael has been a tour guide for museums around New England and was involved in several research projects in his undergraduate career, ranging in scope from archaeology to linguistics. Michael has a B.A. from Tufts University, where he majored in history and classical studies. He cannot wait to visit Drum castle and explore its fascinating library!
Sarah has joined NTSUSA to deliver the annual fundraising gala, A Celebration of Scotland’s Treasures, to develop additional programming in person and virtually, including tours to Scotland, and to foster meaningful partnerships. Sarah brings her experience from the public and private sectors in events, partnership management, member acquisition and retention. She has a BA from the University of Strathclyde. One of Sarah’s favorite Trust Nature Reserve’s is Glencoe and she looks forward to visiting Iona on one of her next trips to Scotland.
